Our Three Villages

Lavhi Bk., Lavhi Kh. (Awali), and Dadawadi — woven into the Sahyadri foothills

Lavhi Bk.

Lavhi Bk. village community

This is our main village and the heart of the Gram Panchayat, right along the Amba river. We take a lot of pride in how our community comes together for Shramdaan; we did some great work on water conservation to keep our land green. Being close to the Sahyadris, the air here is always fresh, and though we are 65km from Pune, life here feels worlds apart. It's a place where everyone knows everyone and we look out for each other.

Lavhi Kh. (Awali)

Lavhi Kh. (Awali) Devrai

Lavhi Kh. (Awali) is a smaller place located right in the shadow of Rajgad Fort, so the history of the hills is in our blood. The area is completely covered in thick forests and greenery, which makes farming here very peaceful. Our families have been rooted in this soil for generations, and we still live with the same old values. It's the kind of village where you'll always find a spot under a tree to sit and talk about the old days.

Dadawadi

Village Photo — Dadawadi

Dadawadi is a quiet farming village where life moves at its own steady pace. We are surrounded by the massive Sahyadri ranges, which keep the weather pleasant throughout the year. Most of us spend our days in the fields, and there's a real sense of calm here that you won't find in the city. It's a simple life, but living in the middle of these mountains makes us feel very lucky.
