Serving Three Villages, One Community
Lavhi Bk. Gram Panchayat is the local self-government for three villages — Lavhi Bk., Lavhi Kh. (Awali), and Dadawadi — in Rajgad Taluka (formerly Velhe), Pune District. Established in 2009, we work for the welfare, development, and heritage of our community.
Our mission is to serve every resident with transparency, care, and a commitment to preserving the unique character of village life.
Our Gram Panchayat is led by Sarpanch Shri. Shankar Krishnaji Renuse, committed to the progress and welfare of all three villages.
Three villages bound by shared traditions, festivals, and the rhythms of agricultural life.
Working steadily on water, sanitation, roads, and public infrastructure for every resident.
Custodians of a Sahyadri landscape rich with forts, temples, rivers, and ancestral knowledge.
The elected representatives and officers who steward our three villages — chosen by the community, accountable to it.
Life in Lavhi Bk., Lavhi Kh. (Awali), and Dadawadi is shaped by the seasons — sowing and harvest, festivals and fairs, monsoon clouds rolling in over the Sahyadri. Neighbours know one another by name, children grow up between fields and forests, and elders carry stories that stretch back generations.
It is a quiet, rooted life — and one we work every day to support, protect, and pass on.
